Community Involvement

Cleburne Chamber of Commerce

I’ve been on the executive board with the Chamber of Commerce 3 times. I love promoting and engaging local businesses. In doing so I’ve had the privilege of working side by side with some of this community’s finest leaders.

I’ve also served as an ambassador for our Chamber of Commerce! If you ever visit, take a look on the wall. There you will find the large ribbon cutting scissors I had made for their ribbon cuttings! The Ambassadors are the cornerstone of the Chamber’s foundation!

In 2017, I was nominated for Young Business Professional of the Year!

In that same year, The Cleburne Times Review also published a story about me in their quarterly Community Life Magazine!

Cleburne Rotary Club

Cathy Marchel introduced me to the Rotary Club in 2016. I joined and was the Club President in the 2019-2020 year.

Meals on Wheels

Rotary opened the door to several other avenues of service such as Meals on Wheels.

Did you know?

The Rotary Club is responsible for the flags you see in downtown on major holidays.

In 2021, I instituted the residential flag program that allowed residents to lease flags from the Rotary Club to be displayed 5 times a year. The funds were earmarked for the Boy Scouts (who delivers the flags) and various other service projects Rotary performs throughout the year.

East Cleburne Community Center

East Cleburne Community Center was the first board I had ever I served on. They have and continue to make a significant impact on our youth through various programs.

I’ve been blessed to work with so many organizations. None of it would be possible without the support of my wife Jennifer, who has also served our community!

Aside from her support with the Rotary Club and East Cleburne Community Center, she has also served on the board of directors with Children’s Advocacy Center of Johnson County and Heritage Assembly.

She is currently a Child Advocate with CASA of Johnson County.
